I AGREE TO THE SECTIONS BELOW *

  1. OVERVIEW
    1. The ECenter Challenege (“Program”) was created by the Peter T. Paul Entrepreneurship Center (ECenter), 21 Madbury Road, Suite 101, Durham, NH.  The 2024-25 Program is the eighth year of ECenter Challenge.
    2. The ECenter Challenge Program encourages all full-time UNH Durham undergraduate and graduate (Masters only) degree-seeking students to engage in various events and activities surrounding ideas, innovation, and entrepreneurship on campus and reward them with the chance to win prizes totaling $25,000 to help pay off student loans. This includes a FirstGen category (specific for undergraduate students) who are the first in their family to attend college.
    3. Ph.D. students are not eligible to participate in the ECenter Challenge program.
    4. We STRONGLY recommend you download the i2 Passport app on your phone via the Apple App Store or Google Play. See i2Passport.com for directions. The ECenter and ECenter Challenge Program are not responsible for software errors on the app.
    5. At any time and/or for any reason, prior to the start or during the semester(s), ECenter Challenge management and/or Peter T. Paul Entrepreneurship Center can modify or cease the Program with potentially no prizes given or modified levels of prizes given at its full discretion. This is an unchallengeable right of the Program.
  2. REGISTRATION

    1. Time Frame

      1. Any qualified Master’s or undergraduate full-time degree-seeking student at University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH (“Participant”) may register online at the i2 Passport.com page anytime starting at 7:00 A.M. on August 26th, 2024 for the Fall 2024 semester. The Fall 2024 portion of ECenter Challenge Program ends on December 10, 2024. The Spring 2025 portion of the Ecenter Challenge Program occurs between January 23rd, 2024 and May 1st, 2024 (approximately).
      2. In order to be considered a Participant, each full-time Masters or undergraduate degree-seeking student at UNH Durham must be fully registered (including all required fields) via ECenter Challenge web pages. The ECenter Challenge will email any registered student who is not qualified to participate in the Program within 14 days.
      3. Participants who participate in events prior to Registration will not receive any points with NO exceptions. There will be NO retroactive points provided for events prior to Registration. Participation and points may occur prior to official acceptance notification, but in the event of Participant not being accepted all points and participation is terminated.
    2. i2Passport.com

      1.  i2Passport.com is the official site for ECenter Challenge information, points, and tracking.
      2. This official site allow us to track Participant attendance accurately and will ensure that Participant points will be allocated correctly.
    3. FirstGen Students

      1. There is an additional category for First Generation undergraduate students defined as first in their family to attend college (“FirstGen”). ECenter Challenge will verify your FirstGen status through the UNH Registrar’s Office. Status participation is restricted to those undergraduate students who indicated they are FirstGen during the UNH undergraduate admissions application process and/or if Participant has been verified by the Registrar’s offices at UNH even if they did not indicate FirstGen during the undergraduate admissions process. If you are FirstGen and elect to register as FirstGen during the ECenter Challenge Program registration process, you must self-select. There is no retroactive identification allowed as FirstGen after Program registration. If you are unsure of your FirstGen status you need to confirm with the Registrar’s Offfice at UNH prior to completing this registration. In the event it is determined UNH does not currently identify you as FirstGen, ECenter Challenge will be deem Participant ineligible in this category, but Participant can still participate in the general ECenter Challenge program.
  3. ELIGIBLE STUDENT PARTICIPANTS

    1. Open to all full-time undergraduate and Masters degree-seeking students at UNH Durham only who are in good-standing (as defined by the University Registrar). Currently restricted to those students on UNH Durham campus. Ph.D. students are not eligible to participate in the ECenter Challenge program.
    2. Required

      1. You MUST have fully completed the registration process and received notification of acceptance.
      2. Participant gives permission to use their name, likeness, image, voice, and/or appearance as such may be embodied in any pictures, photos, video recordings, audiotapes, digital images, and the like, taken or made on behalf of ECenter Challenge Program and the University of New Hampshire (“UNH”). Participant agrees that the ECenter Challenge Program/UNH have complete ownership of such pictures, etc., including the entire copyright, and may use them for any purpose consistent with the ECenter Challenge Program/UNH mission. These uses include, but are not limited to illustrations, bulletins, exhibitions, videotapes, reprints, reproductions, publications, advertisements, and any promotional or educational materials in any medium now known or later developed, including the Internet. Participant acknowledges that Participant will not receive any compensation, etc. or the use of such pictures, etc., and hereby release the University of New Hampshire and its agents and assigns from any and all claims which arise out of or are in any way connected with such use.
I AGREE TO THE SECTIONS BELOW *
  1. COMMUNICATIONS

    1. Information will be posted on i2Passport.com and its corresponding mobile application. You are required to have access to this information to participate.
    2. Email and text are our primary forms of communication and sent to your UNH email and mobile phone number as supplied by Participant in Registration process. Providing accurate UNH email address and mobile phone number is required. It is the Participant’s responsibility to check their UNH email and text messages to stay informed of any event or Program changes, time changes, other updates, new information and/or additional point opportunities. Failure of Participant to monitor their Program emails and texts may impact knowledge and impact any/all aspects and success of ECenter Challenge for Participant. It is required for Participant to provide a legal and accurate mailing address (in addition to PO Box if provided) during the Registration process. Registered mail and courier services that have the ability to track packages/letters may also be used. Participant is solely responsible and must provide updated address by email to the ECenter Challenge Program in the event of change.
    3. We may also utilize push notification via the ECenter Challenge app. Download the i2 Passport app on your phone via the Apple App Store or Google Play. See i2Passport.com for directions. The ECenter Challenge Program is not responsible for software errors on the app.
  2. PARTICIPATION PROCESS

    1. Official ECenter Challenge events/activities are posted on ECenter Challenge pages of the ECenter website and the i2Passport.com website. These events/activities are all in person for the 2024-2025 academic year. Participant participation is voluntary. Pre-registration for events is strongly recommended, and in some instance, may be required, to help ensure Participant attendance matches the scanning/manual collection of participation to record points.
    2. There are additional activities/events that require you to indicate you are a Participant in ECenter Challenge Program, such as the Social Venture Innovation Challenge and the Holloway Prize Competition. If you fail to make that indication, the ECenter Challenge will not be required to award you points for each or any of those activities/events if you inform the Program after the fact of your participation in an event/activity.
    3. There are additional activities that require you to submit documentation to ECenter Challenge by specific deadlines. Any required/requested documentation submitted after specified deadline(s) will not be awarded any points.
    4. With any virtual events of the 2024-2025 academic year, ECenter Challenge Participants are required to have their cameras on for the entire duration of the event, to virtually “check-in” with the ECenter staff member or campus partner prior to the start of the event, to respond to any questions via chat box, etc. during the event to confirm participation, and to respond to any follow-up questions after the event to confirm participation. Check-in prior to the start of the event may require sharing Participant’s UNH ID number. If all criteria mentioned here is not met, points may not be issued for the Participant for the event.
    5. It is the intent to allow participation by all Participants in all of the ECenter Challenge posted events and activities. However, in the event that there are room capacity issues/limits or other issues, the ECenter Challenge Program reserves the right to limit participation to the first pre-registered Participants for each event. Pre-registered Participants must arrive at event no later than 10 minutes prior to start to guarantee a seat. If pre-registered Participants fail to claim their seat as described, Participants on the wait list will then be given a seat in the order of wait list. If there is still remaining space, those who did not pre-register will be allowed seats on a first-come, first-serve basis. It is the sole responsibility of each Participant to pre-register for each event.
    6. If Participant pre-registers for an event and does not attend and does not cancel online prior to event start they may be penalized byECenter Challenge subtracting the same value of that event/activity from their total points.
    7. Again, we STRONGLY recommend you download the ECenter Challenege app on your phone via the Apple App Store or Google Play. See i2Passport.com for directions. The ECenter and ECenter Challenge Program are not responsible for software errors on the app.
  3. TRACKING

    1. Use of Participant’s UNH Durham student ID (“ID”) is required for participation and tracking in most circumstances in ECenter Challenge Program. UNH Durham student ID’s will be swiped into the tracking system to record participation. In the case of virtual events when swiping is not possible, Participant may be required to provide his/her/their ID number at check-in prior to the start of the event. By registering for ECenter Challenge, you agree to for ID and ID number’s use by ECenter Challenge. You are responsible for ensuring your ID is in working condition (if it is not, it is recommended that Participant gets a new working ID), that it has been swiped, and/or your ID number has been recorded electronically or manually at each event/activity.  If you attend an event/activity, but do not swipe your ID in, you will not receive points. The ECenter Challenge does not take responsibility to swipe/manually record your ID.
    2. In the event that the swipe process breaks down or is unavailable, you must physically sign in on the attendance sheet for your point participation to be captured. At the discretion of the ECenter Challenge management and/or attendants, alternative means of manual recording may be required.
    3. Post-event participation tracking is limited to the errors in your participation not being captured despite your actively having swiped your card or other accepted participation recording. Request for points are allowed as outlined in the Appeal Process in section 12 below.
I AGREE TO THE SECTIONS BELOW *
  1. SOCIAL MEDIA

    1. You will receive points for following the ECenter on Facebook, Instagram, and/or LinkedIn by November 29, 2024. You will receive 500 points for ONE follow. Additional follows are not worth additional points. You must provide your social media handle at registration. You must send a screen shot to daijon.beasley@unh.edu to verify post. You will receive only 500 points, even if you follow more than once. In order to be eligible to receive points through the use of social media follows, Participant’s applicable handles (“Social Media Names”) should be disclosed at the time of registration. Points will not be awarded retroactively for any prior social media follows prior to the submission of the Social Media Name.
  2. EVENTS/ACTIVITIES

    1. Applicable events/activities will be listed on the i2Passport.com website and ECenter Challenge pages on the ECenter webpages. These are subject to change, cancellation, and/or addition of new activities, at any time. ECenter Challenge will use reasonable efforts to inform Participants of any changes.
    2. The Social Venture Innovation Challenge, Holloway Prize, and Maurice Prize competition points will be awarded to each student member of the team who is also a registered ECenter Challenge Participant.
    3. Events and activities for the 2024-2025 academic year of the ECenter Challenge Program are in-person events.
    4. All events and activities for the 2024-2025 academic year of the ECenter Challenge Program fit into eight categories.
  3. PRIZES

    1. Participants may only win one Overall “1st Prize”; ”2nd Prize”; “3rd Prize”; “Runner-up Prizes”; or “FirstGen Prize” (defined in paragraph 9 a-l below) per Fall and per Spring semester portion.  In the event a Participant is eligible for two prizes, the larger prize will be given preference except as defined in Section 9 (c). ECenter Challenge prizes are intended to pay off student loans or be used for upcoming tuition.  While there is no legal requirement that the money be applied to loans/tuition, the University of New Hampshire, the ECenter Challenge Program all strongly encourage each winner to use the prize money in that manner.  
    2. Participant must be present at Fall Award Ceremony to win any of the Fall portion prizes and/or the ECenter Challenge Spring Award Ceremony to win any of the Spring portion prizes; unless for each Finals you receive prior written approval from ECenter Challenge to be absent for extraordinary circumstances. The written request must be submitted to the ECenter Executive Director no less than 2 hours prior to the ECenter Challenge Finals and include the Participant’s name, reason for absence, and the name and mobile telephone number of the person or persons (up to three) who will be in attendance and can receive the prize on absent Participant’s behalf. Dates subject to change and will be announced at least two (2) weeks prior.
    3. ECenter Challenge prize winners (1st Prize, 2nd Prize, 3rd Prize, 4th Prize, and FirstGen Prize) are limited to two wins in any and all prize categories for their UNH undergraduate and/or Master’s degree career. That means that if you have won, for example, 1st Prize once already and 2nd Prize once already, you are not eligible to win in a points again. If you have won two Prizes in previous semesters, you are able to complete the minimum events/activities required to have your name in the Runner-up Prize Category drawing(s).
    4. FALL SEMESTER 2024 PRIZES

      1. Fall Semester Overall 1st Prize – All Participants are eligible. One (1) $3,500.00 cash prize (“Fall Semester 1st Prize”) will be awarded to the Participant who has the most points and completed the required number of activities in each of the eight Categories after the Fall Semester of the ECenter Challenge participation. See the Point Breakdown document for details on the Categories. Total approximate retail value: $3,500.00. In the event that more than one Participant has the same number of points, those Participants will either (i) in the event of two tied Participants, either agree to split the combined 1st prize and 2nd prize (total $6,000) equally; or if they do not agree to split the prize, will be entered into a drawing for the Fall Semester 1st Prize with the second person receiving the 2nd place Prize, or if three tied Participants, (ii) split the combined 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, and 3rd Prize (total $8,000) equally if and only if, all Participants who have the same leading amount of points agree in advance, in confidential voting, to split the prize equally, or in the event there is not unanimous agreement to split prize, will be entered into a drawing for the Fall Semester 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, and 3rd Prizes. Or (iii) if four or more tied Participants, (iiii) split the combined 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, and 3rd Prizes (total $8,000) equally if, and only if, all Participants who have the same leading amount of points must agree in advance, in confidential voting, to split the prize equally, or in the event there is not unanimous agreement to split Prize, will be entered into a drawing for the Fall Semester 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, and 3rd Prizes with the remaining Participants entered into the Runner-Up Prize Drawings.
      2. Fall Semester Overall 2nd Prize – one (1) $2,500.00 cash Prize (“Fall Semester Second Prize”) will be awarded participants who has the second most points and completed the required number of activities in each of the eight Categories after the Fall Semester of ECenter Challenge participation. See the Point Breakdown document for details on the Categories. Total approximate retail value of 2nd Prize: $2,500.00. In the event that more than one Participant has the same number of points, those Participants will either (i) in the event of two tied Participants, either agree to split the combined 2nd Prize and 3rd Prize (total $4,500) equally; or if they do not agree to split the Prize, will be entered into a drawing for the Fall Semester 2nd Prize with the second person receiving the 3rd place Prize, or if  (ii) if three or more tied Participants, (iii) split the combined 2nd Prize and 3rd Prize (total $4,500) equally if and only if, all Participants who have the same leading amount of points must agree in advance, in confidential voting, to split the prize equally, or in the event there is not unanimous agreement to split Prize, will be entered into a drawing for the Fall Semester 2nd Prize, and 3rd Prizes with the remaining Participants entered into the Runner-Up Prize Drawings.
      3. Fall Semester Overall 3rd Prize – one (1) $2,000.00 cash Prize (“Fall Semester Third Prize”) will be awarded to the Participant who has the third most points and completed the required number of activities in each of the eight Categories after the Fall Semester of ECenter Challenge participation. See the Point Breakdown document for details on the Categories. Total approximate retail value of each Prize: $2,000. In the event that more than one Participant has the same number of points, those Participants will either (i) in the event of two tied Participants, either agree to split the 3rd Prize (total $2,000) equally; or if they do not agree to split the prize, will be entered into a drawing for the Fall Semester 2nd Prize with the second person receiving the 3rd place Prize and the other Participant entered into the Runner-Up Prize Drawing, or (iii) if three or more tied Participants, (iiii) split the combined 3rd Prize (total $2,000) equally if and only if, all Participants who have the same leading amount of points must agree in advance, in confidential voting, to split the prize equally, or in the event there is not unanimous agreement to split prize, will be entered into a drawing for the Fall Semester 3rd Prize with the remaining Participants entered into the Runner-Up Prize Drawings.
      4. Fall Semester Runner-up Prizes – three (3) $1,000.00 cash prizes (“Fall Semester Runner-up Prizes”). Those Participants having achieved the minimum level of participation by completing the required number of activities in each of the eight Categories during the Fall Semester will be entered into a drawing. See the Preakdown document for details on the Categories. Total approximate retail value of each Prize: $1,000.
      5. Fall Semester FirstGen Prize – One (1) $1,500.00 cash prize (“Fall Semester FirstGen Prize”). Those FirstGen Participants having achieved the minimum level of participation by completing the required number of activities in each of the eight Categories during the Fall Semester will be entered into a drawing. See the Point Breakdown document for details on the Categories. Total approximate retail value of the Prize: $1,500.
    5. SPRING SEMESTER 2025 PRIZES

      1. Spring Semester Overall 1st Prize – All Participants are eligible. One (1) $3,500.00 cash prize (“Spring Semester 1st Prize”) will be awarded to the Participant who has the most points and completed the required number of activities in each of the eight Categories after the Spring Semester of ECenter Challenge participation. See the Point Breakdown document for details on the Categories. Total approximate retail value: $3,500. In the event that more than one Participant has the same number of points, those Participants will either (i) in the event of two tied Participants, either agree to split the combined 1st prize and 2nd prize (total $6,000) equally; or if they do not agree to split the prize, will be entered into a drawing for the Spring Semester 1st Prize with the second person receiving the 2nd place Prize, or if three tied Participants, (ii) split the combined 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, and 3rd Prize (total $8,000) equally if and only if, all Participants who have the same leading amount of points must agree in advance, in confidential voting, to split the prize equally, or in the event there is not unanimous agreement to split prize, will be entered into a drawing for the Fall Semester 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, and 3rd Prizes. Or (iii) if four or more tied Participants, (iiii) split the combined 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, and 3rd Prizes (total $8,000) equally if, and only if, all Participants who have the same leading amount of points must agree in advance, in confidential voting, to split the prize equally, or in the event there is not unanimous agreement to split Prize, will be entered into a drawing for the Spring Semester 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, and 3rd Prizes with the remaining Participants entered into the Runner-Up Prize Drawings.

In the event that more than one Participant has the same number of points. those Participants will either (i) in the event of two tied Participants, either agree to split the combined 2nd Prize and 3rd Prize (total $4,500) equally; or if they do not agree to split the Prize, will be entered into a drawing for the Spring Semester 2nd Prize with the second person receiving the 3rd place Prize, or if (ii) if three or more tied Participants, (iii) split the combined 2nd Prize and 3rd Prize (total $4,500) equally if and only if, all Participants who have the same leading amount of points must agree in advance, in confidential voting, to split the prize equally, or in the event there is not unanimous agreement to split Prize, will be entered into a drawing for the Spring Semester 2nd Prize, and 3rd Prizes with the remaining Participants entered into the Runner-Up Prize Drawings.
      3. Spring Semester Overall 3rd Prize – one (1) $2,000.00 cash Prize (“Spring Semester Third Prize”) will be awarded to the Participant who has the third most points and completed the required number of activities in each of the eight Categories after the Spring Semester of ECenter Challenge participation. See the Point Breakdown document for details on the Categories. Total approximate retail value of each Prize: $2,000. In the event that more than one Participant has the same number of points, those Participants will either (i) in the event of two tied Participants, either agree to split the 3rd Prize (total $2,000) equally; or if they do not agree to split the prize, will be entered into a drawing for the Spring Semester 2nd Prize with the second person receiving the 3rd place Prize and the other Participant entered into the Runner-Up Prize Drawing, or (iii) if three or more tied Participants, (iiii) split the combined 3rd Prize (total $2,000) equally if and only if, all Participants who have the same leading amount of points must agree in advance, in confidential voting, to split the prize equally, or in the event there is not unanimous agreement to split prize, will be entered into a drawing for the Spring Semester 3rd Prize with the remaining Participants entered into the Runner-Up Prize Drawings.
      4. Spring Semester Runner-up Prizes – Three (3) $1,000.00 cash prizes (“Spring Semester Runner-up Prizes”). Those Participants having achieved the minimum level of participation by completing the required number of activities in each of the eight Categories during the Spring Semester will be entered into a drawing. See the Point Breakdown Opportunities document for details on the Categories. Total approximate retail value of each Prize: $1,000.
      5. Spring Semester FirstGen Prize – One (1) $1,500.00 cash prize (“Spring Semester FirstGen Prize”). Those FirstGen Participants having achieved the minimum level of participation by completing the required number of activities in each of the eight Categories during the Spring Semester will be entered into a drawing. See the Point Breakdown document for details on the Categories. Total approximate retail value of FirstGen Prize: $1,500.
    6. ADDITIONAL PRIZES

      1. Students who have collected points in EACH ONE of the 8 categories and have not won another ECenter Challenge prize will receive a $50.00 gift card after completion of the program. No one person is allowed to win more than one Additional Prize over the Fall Semester and Spring Semester of the ECenter Challenge Program. Each Winner is required to have a tax ID number/social security number prior to being awarded the Prize and to receive Prize at the ECenter and have photo taken and promoted.
    7. OTHER

      1. ECenter Challenge Certificate – Participants who have achieved minimum level of participation and completed the required number of activities in each of the eight categories can request the ECenter Challenge Certificate indicating engagement in the ideas, innovation, and entrepreneurial opportunities at UNH.
      2. For ALL PRIZES – ALL EXPENSES, FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL TAXES AND COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ACCEPTANCE AND USE OF PRIZE NOT SET FORTH IN THESE RULES ARE THE SOLE OBLIGATION OF THE PRIZE WINNER. No assignment, transfer, or substitution of any Prize is permitted by the Winner. Participants agree that, and as provided in Sections 9 and 11, if a Winner is found to have violated rules described herein, or otherwise does not meet the ECenter Challenge eligibility criteria, such Prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate Winner in a random drawing from among all remaining Entries. The ECenter Challenge reserves the right to substitute any Prize for a different prize of equal or greater value, in its sole discretion.
      3. Each winner agrees to be available for any media interviews and photo images.
      4. Each Winner understands and accepts that winning and receiving the prize money may have an impact on future financial aid calculations from FAFSA, the University of New Hampshire, and any other financial or scholarship aid source resulting in possible reduction of such aid to the Participant Winner.
      5. Each Winner is required to have a tax ID number/social security number prior to being award the Prize.  Any Prize winning International Participants are required to meet with UNH Office for International Student and Scholars (OISS) for tax and other potential implications.
      6. i. Each prize winner (except Additional Prize winners) is required to meet with the designated UNH Financial Aid officer to discuss the Prize and benefits to using it to pay off student loans or toward tuition prior to the ECenter issuing the Prize money. A confirmation of that meeting from Financial Aid is required prior to the award of any prize. Failure to meet designated UNH Financial Aid officer will terminate the Participant Winner’s status. In such circumstances, the respective 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, 3rd Prize, and FirstGen Prize will be awarded to the next highest point participant as outlined in Section 9 (c, f, i) herein. The Runner-ups prizes will be subject to new drawing(s) as described in Sections 9 (d,e, g, h, j, k) herein. Any subsequent Prize Winner(s) is subject to all of the requirements described herein and must meet with the designated UNH Financial Aid officer within ten (10 days) of notification of being a Prize Winner.
I AGREE TO THE SECTIONS BELOW *
  1. NO LIABLILITY

    1. The University of New Hampshire (and thereby also, but not limited to, ECenter Challenge or the Peter T. Paul Entrepreneurship Center) assume no liability or responsibility in the event of any errors, omissions, or other aspects of the Program. 
    2. Participant understands and accepts that (a) there are initial limitations as to Participant and event/activity criteria, (b) there may be unexpected issues that arise that will be handled in as expedited and as consistent way as reasonably possible, and (c) circumstances may arise which require the program to end early or be cancelled for the semester, at which point the iECenter Challenge Program and/or Peter T. Paul Entrepreneurship Center reserve the right to award no prizes, partial prizes, or complete prizes how they deem appropriate. While unlikely, these unexpected issues may have impact on some or all of the Program components and impact Participants directly or indirectly.
    3. NEITHER UNIVERSITY SYSTEM OF NEW HAMPSHIRE, THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW HAMPSHIRE nor any of its employees, TRUSTEES, agents, or contractors shall be liable under any claim, charge, or demand, whether in contract, tort, criminal law, or otherwise, for any loss, cost, charge, claim, demand, fee, expense, or damage of ANY nature OR kind arising out of, connected with, resulting from or sustained as a result of participation in the ECenter Challenge.
  2. CAUSES FOR PARTICIPANT TERMINATION

    1. Any Participant found providing false information, misconduct, or cheating, which includes, but is not limited to having another person swipe Participant’s ID for an ECenter Challenge event when Participant is not in attendance, scanning and immediately leaving, submitting false information, and/or having additional points issued to Participant profile for activities or events in which Participant did not participate in, will be immediately terminated from the Program. An appeal is allowed by requesting a hearing with the ECenter Challenge Board as further described in Section 12.
  3. APPEAL PROCESS

    1. Points

      1. If you feel that you are missing points, you may appeal to the ECenter Challenge Board within seven (7) days after the time of the event or when points are posted. Any appeals after this window will not be accepted, and you will forfeit the potential points. A Participant may appeal no more than three (3) times during the Program’s Fall or Spring Semester.
      2. To appeal, the following steps must be taken:

        1. Submit using the online Appeal Form found on i2passport.com to the Marketing Assistant, Executive Director or Program Manager of the ECenter, a signed letter (“Letter”) from the event sponsor or club leader saying that you were present and actively participated. In the event of an activity, provide the details and evidence of participation that includes dates and times.
        2. If the event sponsor/club leader Letter cannot be produced for a valid reason, a 250-350 word statement explaining the content of the event as well as the time and location (“Statement”) will be accepted in its place.
        3. After the Letter or Statement has been submitted, the participant will meet with a small selection of the ECenter Challenge Board to discuss the appeal. This step can be omitted by the ECenter Challenge Board if it is seen as unnecessary.
        4. The ECenter Challenge Board has the right to reject an appeal at its sole discretion. Once an appeal is rejected, it cannot be overturned and the points will be forfeited. All decisions made by the Board are final.
        5. If the ECenter Challenge Board finds that Participant is not eligible or does not meet the requirements for point(s), efforts will be made to notify Participant within fourteen (14) days or before the close of the Program, if the event is less than 14 days.
    2. Termination

      1. In the event participant is terminated from the program as outlined in Section 11, the Participant has the right to appeal the termination.
      2. Participant may appeal to the ECenter Challenge Board within seven (7) days after the date of termination notification. Any appeals after this window will not be accepted and termination will remain in effect.
      3. To appeal, the following steps must be taken:

        1. Submit to the Executive Director or Program Manager of the ECenter, a signed termination appeal letter (“Appeal Letter”) outlining the reasons for the termination and why they are not accurate.
        2. After the Appeal Letter has been submitted, the Participant will meet with a small selection of the ECenter Challenge Board to discuss the appeal. This step can be omitted by the ECenter Challenge Board if it is seen as unnecessary.
        3. The ECenter Challenge Board has the right to reject an appeal at its sole discretion. Once an appeal is rejected, it cannot be overturned and the termination will stand.  All decisions made by the ECenter Challenge Board are final.
        4. The ECenter Challenge Board will render its decision within fourteen (14) days of the letter or in-person appeal meeting or before the close of the Program’s Fall or Spring Semester, if the event less than 14 days.
