The UNH Marketing and Advertising Club (MAC) is a student-run organization. Its members can apply what they learn in the classroom to real marketing projects and connect with industry leaders. The MAC club meets (biweekly)
Attendance at all or most of the events is required; no "check-in and leave" is allowed. Participants must attend all 3 events to earn a total of 1,500 points (500 points per meeting).
Share a post on Instagram or LinkedIn about an ECenter Event and tag us by April 25 at Noon.
Win points for each time you use the ECenter space.
All participants are required to stay in the space for a minimum of 30 mins.
Each participant is allowed a maximum 5 visits for a total of 2,500 points ( 500 points per visit)

The ECenter is pleased to announce three Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIR) for the Spring 2025 semester. They will hold regular office hours, giving student innovators the chance to discuss their ideas and receive guidance.
Students in the ECenter Challenge can earn 500 points by scanning the QR code during their first meeting with an EIR.
The Makerspace is student-run and open to all UNH students at every skill level! 3D printers, laser cutter, CNC mill, and more!
Attend Crypto Club meetings to engage with current UNH students, learn to generate interest, and raise awareness about the economic and social potential of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency while promoting their integration into the local community.
The UNH Entrepreneurship Club meets every Monday from 5:30 pm to 6:30/7 pm at the UNH ECenter located in Madbury Commons. This student-run organization hosts speakers, activities, and engaging workshops. Students who participate at least 3x will win a total of 1500 points (500 points per session) for attending EClub meetings.

The Paul J. Holloway Competition is UNH’s premier business plan competition for undergraduate and graduate students. It challenges students to develop products or services and present their plans to bring them to the market. Students are invited to compete for 40,000. This competition is named after Paul J. Holloway, an accomplished business leader and successful entrepreneur.

The Think Tank Idea-thon provides students with a unique opportunity to explore health care, sustainability, or your own ideas, and entrepreneurship!
During the Ideathon, teams will have the chance to work on innovative solutions to real-world problems and will receive valuable feedback from experienced mentors. Students from All Majors and all Colleges are welcome!
Not only will this be a great learning experience, but the top three teams will also have the chance to win $500 each.

Join us for another exciting ECenter event featuring our host, John St. Pierre. John is an entrepreneurial executive with over 25 years of business leadership experience. He began his journey as a franchisee for College Pro Painters while still in college, where he quickly developed his entrepreneurial skills. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, he continued to excel in various roles, including General Manager for College Pro and Vice President of Sales for HandymanOnline.com. Following the Dotcom crash in 2001, John served as President of WorldAtMyDoor, an e-commerce platform for small businesses, which was successfully sold in 2002.

This collaborative space, run by fellow students, is an open and inclusive hub for innovation and hands-on learning. Whether you're a seasoned creator or just starting, you'll have the opportunity to learn and master these state-of-the-art machines. Plus, by actively participating, you'll be able to earn 500 points toward the ECenter Challenge!
The Paul J. The Holloway Prize competition is UNH’s premier business plan competition for undergraduate and graduate students. It challenges students to develop products or services and present their plans to bring them to market. Students from UNH, Plymouth State University, Keene State College, and Granite State College are invited to compete for cash prizes totaling $40,000. It is named in honor of Paul J. Holloway, an accomplished business leader and successful entrepreneur.
Teams advancing to this round are required to expand or modify their answers to our initial questions (1 through 10) with more detail, as well as additional questions 11 through 16.

Go BEYOND THE RESUME! : Network with the ECenter

At MAC SMAC, you’ll have the chance to: Network with industry leaders from top global brands and engage with recruiters from leading marketing and advertising companies.
Twenty teams will advance to the Semifinal Bud Albin Round where they present their business concept before a panel of business and industry judges who have reviewed their 5-page submissions and videos. Teams are allotted 10 minutes to present followed by 15 minutes of Q&A with the judges.
After the Semifinal Bud Albin Round, all teams will receive detailed feedback from the judges and six teams will advance to the Holloway Prize Competition Championship Round.
The Formal Analysis shall be a review of the project that an individual or team undertook and what the individual or team accomplished. The Formal Analysis shall be delivered in whatever form is most appropriate to the nature of the project. Acceptable forms shall include, but shall not be limited to, written summary, PowerPoint, graphics, and representations of studio and/or performing arts, in the form of reports, posters, or electronically.

The ECenter's Maurice Prize for Innovation offers undergraduate students the opportunity to pursue their ideas for the chance to win $5,000. Success and failure are equally valid outcomes - all that matters is what is learned in the process.
For most consumer product companies, most of their environmental and social impact occurs within their supply chain. When you think about your favorite products, where the raw ingredients come from and how they are processed matters most. Learn how consumer product companies can engage with the people and places in their supply chains to restore, regenerate, rather than degrade. And discuss how you as consumers can vote with your dollar to influence more companies on this journey.
Showcase your sustainability work! Whether you're solving environmental engineering challenges or researching solutions to hunger, all majors are encouraged to present on various sustainability issues. Focus on environmental stewardship, social well-being, and economic vitality, using the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals as a framework.
All participants must submit three selfies of presentations and explain how they relate to entrepreneurship to receive points.
Become a finalist in the Holloway Prize Competition! Six teams of student entrepreneurs and innovators will present their innovative business plans to a panel of industry-leading judges. This is your chance to win the top prize of $15,000 at the 35th annual Paul J. Holloway Prize Competition.
