Create something in the campus maker spaces (the ECenter Makerspace in Madbury Commons or the CEPS Makerspace in Kingsbury Hall) and submit it to win $500!
Submit your creation by March 7, 2025, at 11 AM!
Submissions will go in one of three categories:
- Art
- Technology
- Choose Your Own Adventure!
Whether you're an experienced maker or just starting out, this is your opportunity to unleash your creativity, work on exciting projects, and connect with like-minded enthusiasts.
Participants will be awarded 500 points if selected as the winner of Makerspace Makeathon

The UNH Marketing and Advertising Club (MAC) is a student-run organization. Its members can apply what they learn in the classroom to real marketing projects and connect with industry leaders. The MAC club meets (biweekly)
Attendance at all or most of the events is required; no "check-in and leave" is allowed.
Participants must attend all 3 events to earn a total of 1,500 points (500 points per meeting).

Share a post on Instagram or LinkedIn about an ECenter Event and tag us by April 25 at Noon.
Participants need to send a screenshot to dj.beasley@unh.edu to receive points.
Participants will win a total of 500 points for creating a social media post.

Win points for each time you use the ECenter space.

The Makerspace is student-run and open to all UNH students at every skill level! 3D printers, laser cutter, CNC mill, and more!

The ECenter is pleased to announce three Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIR) for the Spring 2025 semester. They will hold regular office hours, allowing student innovators to discuss their ideas and receive guidance.
Students in the ECenter Challenge can earn 500 points by scanning the QR code during their first meeting with an EIR
Each participant is allowed a maximum of 1 visit for 500 points.

Attend Crypto Club meetings to engage with current UNH students, learn to generate interest, and raise awareness about the economic and social potential of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency while promoting their integration into the local community.
Participants will win a total of 1500 points (500 points per session) for attending Crypto Club meetings.

The Paul J. The Holloway Prize competition is UNH’s premier business plan competition for undergraduate and graduate students. It challenges students to develop products or services and present their plans to bring them to market.
Participants will receive 1,000 points for getting their ideas into the 2nd Round of the Holloway Common Prize.

Learn how to navigate networks to support your primary needs as a founder: funding, talent, customer acquisition, mentorship and knowledge share from John Hill, VP of Story at Whop.
John Hill has been at the cutting edge of technology/entrepreneurship/Higher Education for nearly two decades at Michigan State University, LinkedIn, Techstars and, now, Whop. He believes relationships matter and has built a framework others can follow to find funding, talent, customer acquisition, knowledge share and mentorship. He's currently at Whop, which is a no-code platform allowing anyone to build a digital business. The company has helped 28,000 people (businesses) generate $760 million in sales. Last week, 2.1 million visited Whop's marketplace. Yesterday, over 250 people built a Whop (business) on their phone.

At MAC SMAC, you’ll have the chance to: Network with industry leaders from top global brands and engage with recruiters from leading marketing and advertising companies.
This year’s Summit will focus on the theme Strength in Community: Marketing that Powers Inclusion & Impact. MAC is thrilled to welcome its keynote speaker, Jamie Medieros, UNH ’04, Chief Brand Officer of Planet Fitness.
MAC SMAC is a key part of real-world learning and professional development at Paul College, offering students, faculty, staff, and industry professionals valuable exposure to leading businesses and industry leaders.
ECenter Challenge Participants will earn 1,500 points for participating in the full event.

Twenty teams will advance to the Semifinal Bud Albin Round where they present their business concept before a panel of business and industry judges who have reviewed their 5-page submissions and videos. Teams are allotted 10 minutes to present followed by 15 minutes of Q&A with the judges.
After the Semifinal Bud Albin Round, all teams will receive detailed feedback from the judges and six teams will advance to the Holloway Prize Competition Championship Round.
Participants will receive 1,000 points for getting their ideas into the Bud Albin Round of the Holloway Common Prize.

The Formal Analysis shall be a review of the project that an individual or team undertook and what the individual or team accomplished. The Formal Analysis shall be delivered in whatever form is most appropriate to the nature of the project. Acceptable forms shall include, but shall not be limited to, written summary, PowerPoint, graphics, and representations of studio and/or performing arts, in the form of reports, posters, or electronically.
Participants will win a total of 1,500 points for submitting formal analysis.

It's Pitch Perfect Time!
Are you getting ready to pitch for Holloway, Maurice Prize, or another competition? Or do you have an idea you have been working on and want to pitch? Then come and practice your pitch with local investors! Start by submitting a video that is 2 Minutes or less to this application! You will be notified by April 4, 2025, of your inclusion in Pitch Perfect!
The Pitches take place on Thursday, April 17 from 12:30 PM - 2 PM in the ECenter. If you are selected your team/a member of your team would be expected to take part in this pitch event.

The ECenter's Maurice Prize for Innovation offers undergraduate students the opportunity to pursue their ideas for the chance to win $5,000. Success and failure are equally valid outcomes - all that matters is what is learned in the process.
Participants will win a total of 1,500 points for submitting formal analysis.

Showcase your sustainability work! Whether you're solving environmental engineering challenges or researching solutions to hunger, all majors are encouraged to present on various sustainability issues. Focus on environmental stewardship, social well-being, and economic vitality, using the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals as a framework.
All participants must submit three selfies of presentations and explain how they relate to entrepreneurship to 1,000 receive points.

Become a finalist in the Holloway Prize Competition! Six teams of student entrepreneurs and innovators will present their innovative business plans to a panel of industry-leading judges.
Participants will receive 1500 points for becoming a finalist in the Holloway Common Prize competition.
